Hello. I’m a writer from coastal Massachusetts who writes about memory, the limits of individual perspective, and New England.

My debut novel, Women and Children First, was released in 2024 and named a best book of the year by NPR, Vogue, Apple, Book Riot, Marie Claire, and more. I hold a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.F.A. from Vanderbilt University. From 2025 - 2026, I served as the James C. McCreight fellow at the Wisconsin Institute for Creative Writing. Raised in coastal Massachusetts, I now live in Austin, Texas.
